USE
The equipment is used for splitting of extruded PE and PP foam profiles and pipes into desired lengths directly during run of the extruding line.
FUNCTION
The machine consists of a rotary knife driven through a gearbox by a servomotor. The servomotor control system allows measurement of the preset length of the cut. This length can be preset on the machine control display. There is also optional external control from the foregoing section of the extruding line. Protection of the knife, input and output parts of the machine by covers with safety switches provide high safety of the operators. Geometric shape of the chopping knife together with its speed guarantees high quality of chopping.
ADVANTAGES
The equipment thanks to use of a servomotor and PLC numerical control provides high reliability, speed and accuracy of length of the cut material.
