USE

The machine is used for the transverse cutting of band materials made of plastics, rubber, paper, etc. with a thickness of 0.3 – 4 mm. The cut material width is 1,500 mm at the maximum. The machine is designed to be installed on lines with extrusion or rolling of planer materials. However, it can also be used in a non-continuous production separately located. Individual cuts can be realised manually or automatically.

FUNCTION

In the case of the manual control, the operating personnel activate the cutting process according to their requirements. In the case of the automatic control, the cutting process is activated upon reaching the required length on the basis of an impulse from the measured length. In addition, the measurement system facilitates the display of the actual measured length and either the sum of all measured lengths or the measurement of the cut material travel speed. The cutting force is generated by a pneumatic cylinder.
