USE

The equipment is used for cutting of desired lengths of paper hollows with inner diameter Eu 3² (76mm) and max. wall thickness 10mm. Alternatively there can be cut hollows with inner diameter 50-127mm after exchange of the supporting roller.

FUNCTION

Before cutting it is necessary to adjust mechanical stop of the cut hollow length. The paper hollow, slid on a guide rod with a bearing roller, is driven by a motor and a pair of pulleys wrapped by a belt. Cutting occurs between the rotating hollow and dick knife on a manually pressed down arm. Speed of the knife are derived from the rotating hollow. Reversible motion of the arm with the rotary knife is provided using an adjustable tension spring. Access to the disk knife is covered in every position of the arm. In case the machine is switched on, rotation of the hollows is initiated by motion of the pressure arm with the knife immediately before contact of the knife with the hollow. In case of change of the hollow inner diameter position of the starting switch must not be repositioned. Dural grooved modular profiles are used for simple and quick repositioning of the length mechanical stop and reach of the hollow cutting arm.
