USE

The equipment is used for chopping of several (2 to 4) simultaneously extruded profiles into chosen lengths and placing bundles of profiles with desired number of pieces onto a manipulation table.

FUNCTION

The machine consists of a mechanism for guiding of profiles, double pneumatic chopping unit, guide troughs with tiltable bottoms, withdrawal conveyor with deposit chambers and manipulation table. Withdrawal of the extrusion line transports the profiles through a guide mechanism into the chopping unit. Based on impulse from meter of withdrawal speed the profiles are chopped off and bottoms of the guide troughs are tipped out. This causes that the profiles with the desired length fall into deposit chambers. Reaching of the desired number of pieces in the chambers initiates run of the conveyor that brings separated bundles of profiles onto the manipulation table for further processing, e.g. for packing.

ADVANTAGES

The equipment eliminates completely manual manipulation with profiles during transport of bundles with the desired number of pieces and allows utilise fully capacity of the line for extruding of profiles.
