USE

The equipment is used for checking the quality of connections of rubber-coated inserts of tyres.

FUNCTION

The equipment consists of a jaw for clamping 75 mm wide samples. After its clamping by means of pneumatically operated boards, the sample can be expanded by 160% using motor-operated screws. The extent of the expansion and its speed can be changed by means of potentiometers on the control panel. The accuracy of adjustment and reproducibility are ensured by using a servomotor and incremental sensor. In order to increase safety, individual functions of the machine are two-hand operated. After expanding the sample, the operating personnel, using a hot knife that is a part of the supply, strip the connections and check its quality visually. The machine also includes the source of pressure air for pneumatic valves. The test can also be realised in the automatic mode when all the operations are performed in the required sequence using buttons of the two-handed operation.

ADVANTAGES:

Due to its mobility, the equipment facilitates the checking directly at the production lines, ensuring thus the process mode of the given production units.
