USE
The equipment is used for monitoring the presence of foil in the course of its production or its further processing. It can signal a lateral deviation of the foil from the axis of the machine or its breakage.
FUNCTION
The measuring device consists of a sensing part and evaluating part. The sensing part is formed by an infra-red sensor with a reflecting glass. The evaluating part is equipped with optical and audible signalling and a contact facilitating the control of other parts, e.g. the machine stopping.
ADVANTAGES
The equipment facilitates the control of the machinery equipment on which it is installed. It is especially efficient in monitoring a tube in the foil extrusion, when the operating personnel must intervene in the production process in the case of foil breakage as soon as possible.
